I've failed you! 2019 ended and I still haven't told you a bit about all of the weddings of the year. But today I'm going to tell you about one more and after this one there are only four to go. ;)
Meanwhile, the stories for 2020 will start to come together too!
So here goes, a bit of the Patríca and Alexandre's story.
I met them at Cátia and João's wedding (João is Alexandre's cousin), in 2018. If you scroll back a bit on the blog you'll also be able to see photos from their wedding.
Patrícia and Alexandre showed their adventurous side because we went for a stroll at the Pegões aqueduct for their engagement shoot and they actually walked up there while I photographed and Tiago Cardoso filmed. :)
It was a beautiful walk that allowed us to get some cool images a few days before the wedding.
The day of the celebration itself started in Entroncamento with Alexandre and his family and shortly after we headed to Maxial de Além where the bride was getting ready. Both there and at Fontes, where de ceremony happened, the views over the River Zêzere are amazing.
There was a very good mood during the ceremony and there was no shortage of rice to "bless" the bride and groom!
The party happened at Quinta D'Oliveiras in Abrantes that, owning up to its name, has quite the beautiful field of olive trees where we made some magnificent photos close to sunset.
The dancing and the games were handled by Eventos com Pimenta and Laura Varges played and sang some beautiful songs on the piano during the meal.
Since this is a group of people that really enjoys partying, I had witnessed that at the wedding the previous year, there was a lot of dancing and lots of games after the cutting of the beautiful cake, surrounded by lots of fireworks.
Have a look!
