Here we go! This was the last wedding I photographed in 2018. I'm almost all caught up here on the blog!
Paula and Francisco are a couple that has been together for a long time now, but they hadn't had the chance to celebrate their wedding.
When I met them, they came with their two boys and later when we got together for their session before the wedding their little girl was already on her way! That session was a way to photograph the bride and groom, the family and the pregnancy in a single walkabout in Fórnea, close to Porto-de-Mós.
On the day of the wedding, the boys had grown a bit more and the little girl was ready to be the ring bearer, with the help on aunt Sandra!
The ceremony and the reception were both at quinta D. Nuno, very close to Fátima, and despite the time of year, the sun was shining and helped us have a great day.
I have to tell you that this was one of the "best danced" weddings I've ever seen! Everyone was filled with rhythm and they simply wouldn't stop. People danced after lunch, before dinner, before the cake, after the cake... The young danced, the very little danced and the older danced... unstoppable... every single one! :)
Recently we got together again for a session after the wedding (the one that people normally call "trash the dress"), this time only with the bride and groom so that we could be a bit more adventurous and without any fear of tearing something on the dress or the suit.
For this one we visited Quinta de Rio Alcaide which is a supremely beautiful place that I recommend be it for a photo shoot or for a relaxing weekend! You can walk around within their space and also around the quinta, which is what we did, and get to the best viewpoint that I know of over Porto-de-Mós.
